Jose has been a trial attorney for 20+ years. His primary practice is civil litigation and family law. Jose has successfully tried cases concerning alimony, business evaluations, equitable distribution, and time-sharing matters. His civil litigation practice encompasses personal injury cases and commercial and residential real estate disputes. However, being a prior attorney for the Manatee County State Attorney’s Office, Jose also handles the firm’s criminal cases.

Jose was raised in Bradenton and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota. He attended the University of Miami where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in August 1997. He graduated from Stetson University College of Law, in December 2002. Since becoming a lawyer, Jose has practiced in Bradenton and earned a great reputation in the community, both with the court and fellow attorneys.

Jose has served on the St. Joseph’s Catholic School Advisory Board and is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5604. Jose is married and has three children. As expected, he is very involved with his family and has coached numerous youth soccer teams. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, soccer, tennis, and spending time with his family. Jose is fluent in Spanish and is involved in local Hispanic and Latino activities.
